Hythe report Wednesday 8th

Fished off Hythe for 5 hours, caught 3 huge pouting, over 2lbs each, and a hermit crab!

No whiting or codling at all, but I did catch a suntan!

well done mate At least you didnt blank,plus it was a lovely day for it.Think we will get a bit burnt tomorrow too.

Oh right, it's just a pic of Hythe seafront from 500yds out looking through my rods!

Take your sunglasses, I lost mine on the beach before I launched.

Shame you didn't get any codling. Are there supposed to be many about around your way at the moment?

A few when the wind blows them in Elton, but not the proper Winter stock, they have yet to come in with the October gales.

The whiting were in very early this year, and as usual have now dispersed into smaller shoals, so not many around.

Not many Bass reported either, quite poor really. Nothing new there! It's just good to get AFLOAT
