...type a URL into the forum so that it appears as a single word or phrase? eg - In the posting it might appear as 'click here' and when you click on the phrase you open the link?

Hope I've made my question clear!

Type the word or phrase you wish to use, then select that word or phrase by any means you like (click and drag works) when highlighted click on the wee icon for insert link - the one next to the smiley drop down, paste teh url in the box that appears, you're done

And I'm not sure that the answer is clear, so let me know if you need clarification

The error about some files not found?Try doing a link as above, and linking to:

http://anglersnet.co.uk

Nice simple link, I think that it is the link that you have used that is causing the error (i.e. the link is working, but you linked to a location with a problem)

or Chris use the following as the link location for your blog

http://www.anglersnet.co.uk/forums/index.php?automodule=blog&blogid=82&

Angler's Net

Chris's Blog

I forgot to add that it is possibly easier to simply click the insert link icon, enter the URL and then type the words you wish to use as a link in the second pop-up box that appears

Test again! AN

Nope still don't work! I'm highlighting the phrase I want then clicking on 'Insert: post link' in the quick access box. I get two dialogue boxes with the highlighted text already in one of them - what do I do now?
