Shore Caught Common Skate

We had a go at a shore Common a few years ago...but I think the wrong area was targetted....obviously...

 

So what was it that draged Lee down the shore

Aye we know it was a Common....

 

 

BUT...

 

 

 

The chances of hooking and landing one was always in doubt in that area, specially with the massive kelp bed running in front of the fishing area!!!!

 

We all knew that .

 

But it had to be tried....

 

I dont think another attempt from there would be tried....

 

But at the time, it was THE area to try....and as more and more info comes in, there are more and more places to give it a go!!! Which is great news....

 

Here Davy, just had a look at that book of mine...the area where the Skate was caught, is talked about in it...could there be a regeneration ??? Hope so...:)
