Just a quick tip in case anyone makes the mistake I did

 

When you set up your account with Tomtom on your PC make sure that under no circumstances do you connect a different Tomtom to that account. As soon as you do it asks if you would like to add the new unit to your account.. what it doesn't tell you if you do this then the new unit takes over the account and it cant be changed back for 6 months.

 

Edit Note: I forgot to say that when this happens it means you cant access any of your subscriptions that were on the original Tomtom for a full 6 months either

Around the time that a lot of these notes were posted, I was driving around the coast from Sydney to Perth and I was using my Tom Tom One XL. At one stage I took a ferry to cut out a lot of miles, and my Tom Tom even showed me my track across the bay! I am very impressed with the Tom Tom much better than the NavSat (SatNav?) my wife has.
