I suspect the police are happy that so many criminals seem not overly bright.

 

Last night, a trio of not-so-bright gents decided to steal an ATM machine from a local bank. They used a stolen fork lift to rip it from its mounts and load it onto their getaway truck and off they went with a machine containing around $115,000 in cash and a battery powered internal GPS locator.

 

The police gave chase and the thieves abandoned the truck along the roadside (owner registration information in the glove box) and fled. The police are now in possession of 1 stolen ATM, 1 stolen fork lift, 1 pickup truck, and two of the three thieves. Third most like to follow within a day or so.

They should have stole a truck ;-)

The problem isn't what people don't know, it's what they know that just ain't so.
