In the brochure it said there was fishing available, just wondering if anyone has fished in bulgaria before? so i can get some info on what sort of fishing e.g. Fly, spinning, float

It'll be the usual med suspects in the salt. Tho check out your freshwater options, just key in the name of your resort or the nearest town into Google Earth and explore by satalite.

All together now.... "Its a holliday in Bulgairia"

OK, so it would be better with Jello Biafra doing vocals http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dead_Kennedys

The freshwater fishing there is much the same as it is here with a few others thrown in, with most people going for the carp and catfish. So if your after carp there should not be too much trouble in finding a place to go. There are also places you can go fly fishing as well.

If you ARE going freshwater fishing you will also need to get a licence, find out if the place you are going to can sort this out for you as getting one of these might not be easy to do on your own unless you speak Bulgarian.
