I'll bet most of the rest where only just over the existing limit & well below any proposed size limit increase.

And to top it all the guy is/was a water bailiff. Another catch like that would easily have payed what was a derisary fine.

 

This appears to be a place that requires nusery status, why has this not been done. Wonder what the guy was going to do with all the fish in his car as that is rather alot for his immeadiate family, wonder if he is classed as a unlicenced commercial, i.e. selling his 'plate' sized catch.

70 Bass at approx' 2lb per fish. £6 per pound approx' £840. I think this man knew exactly what he was doing and was prepared to run the risk of being knobbled.

I suppose the "take for need not for greed" saying is a bit lost with this chap?
