WOW!! Don't know about the rod (I have seen them before and quite an interesting concept really!) BUT the book on that page is one I JUST gotta have!!! MAN SKILLS?? I always wanted to be a REAL man!!!

Chris Goddard

It is to be observed that 'angling' is the name given to fishing by people who can't fish.

If GOD had NOT meant us to go fishing, WHY did he give us arms then??

(If you can't help out someone in need then don't bother my old Dad always said! My grandma put it a LITTLE more, well different! It's like peeing yourself in a black pair of pants she said! It gives you a LOVELY warm feeling but no-one really notices!))

Someone bought me one of those pen fishing kits last Christmas. It's a telescopic rod of around a metre that collapses down when it does you can then put the pen lid on it. It came with a mini gold multiplier, spinner and line.

I can't think that I'd ever use it. Absolutely useless...

I used mine at the Itchen fish in and caught grayling on it. Great fun :)

"And at just £9.99, they may even be a fun way of introducing youngsters to our sport."

More likely to put them off for life!

Typical "shopping channel" £29.99 product that has failed to sell due to it bing totally unsuitable for the UK market.

And thats my "non indicative opinion"!

Well Elton I may stand corrected. Perhaps I'm being a little snooty.

Happy it'd probably cost you more in postage than buying a new one. They're quite cheap I think.
