Certainly looks like it with the same trade mark.

a trademark is a tranferable commodity ,LEEDA use the intrepid trademark yet nothing to do with Intrepid of the 1970's ,the trademark was bought from BFR ,leeda is owned by a chinese company .a trademark is just a logo that can be stuck on anything whether made or imported

shakespear use the intrepid trademark and has never had anything to do with our lot ,they cant here ofcourse but do in america

yes probably ,old tradenames seem to be cropping up to give so so tackle some sort of credence i think ,if it were called shakespear "run of the mill chinese seconds" it probably wouldnt sell

its a bit like cars ,get a number stick an "X" on the end of it and its becomes different to the exact same thing without it
