Linder 440 aluminum boat

Hi

I am thinking of buying one of these boats(Linder440fisherman 14foot aluminum boat) for loch fishing. Any info on this matter would be more than welcome :D

Try looking on 'World Sea Fishing Forum' web site under boat reviews, it receives a very positive write up.

Use an ali boat myself for inshore fishing, love it, light, easy to launch, easy to maintain, pleasure to use. High initial cost but I don't think you will regret it!

Hey like minds! Ive just put a deposit on a Seastrike 14' semi V £2255 and only 120KG. RCD class C too. The Seastrike is welded and 2mm Ali, otherwise they are fairly similar. http://seastrikeboats.co.uk/boatPics.php?id=semivee007 interesting that the pic has a 20hp when its rated at 15!!

Linder write up: http://www.worldseafishing.com/boating/boa...ng_dinghy.shtml Linder is category D so ok for sheltered waters. How rough does the Loch get?!

There's a fine line between fishing and standing on the shore like an idiot!

My son lives in Finland and when visiting him there I have seen loads of this type of boat. They are very popular and are used on some very large lakes so would think they are suitable for inshore work.

Here is a good review of this boat. The reviewer was very impressed.
