It was a very nice evening session Ken. As usual great report and picyures. Should remind everyone that the car park closes at 2000.

Fished Cefn Sidan beach with brother in law Bernard . He thrashed me 9-2 . All Flounders with a couple of nice keepers biggest 42cms. Bait was maddies and lug , dug locally , fished on a variety of rigs , flappers mainly none bling seemed to work best. Stronger than predicted winds made bite detection difficult and we packed up earlier than planned as the fishing went quiet after 4 hours of the flooding tide. Nice to get though. Sorry no pictures.

Seems I'm the only one on here that is entering this comp! Sent my entry off with no stamps on the postcards hope it's the right thing to do !
-
Having collected my coupons faithfully all year and managing to stop the wife throwing them away I was very confused when I read the details for entry in April edition. Long and the short of it you have have to send a postcard with details on for each set of six coupons. On the website is doesn't say anything about stamps on the postcards , Can anybody advise?

I have the same. does me Ok and fits inside a suitcase very well. Lacks a bit of backbone for casting in strong winds but as I only go spinning when the weather is really good so that is not to much of a problem.

You must be bored this morning Ken? Give me a bell if you have the time. But yes it was sort of interesting . The photography is fantastic , nearly as good as yours !!!!!!!!!!!!! -
My sympathy to all his family. But it does make you think how dangerous this sport of ours can be. The sea should always be treated with the utmost respect.

In todays political climate he would appear to be an ideal candidate!

Karl it might be worth posting the details on WSF mate . It might help boost the numbers . The event will stop anglers getting on to the beach at what could be a productive time of the year for Bass.

A lot depends on what bait you are using?LUG WORM are notoriously difficult to thread onto any circle hooks .

We are hoping to go again this Thursday, fishing the evening tide. I don't think the weather is going to be as good but hopefully the DABS and Dogfish will come on the feed in the dark!

My son lives in Finland and when visiting him there I have seen loads of this type of boat. They are very popular and are used on some very large lakes so would think they are suitable for inshore work.

Going out on the offshore rebel on the 29th October. Hopefully for BASS . Hope the weather is good . Any types or advice would be more than welcome. By the way has anybody any news on Ken Davidson from AMMANFORD the chap with the garden centre?

Hi all I'm the roger that Ken refers to. He didn't mention I losta good fish due to a poorly tied knot! Didn't want to embarass me. Have to be more careful when using fluro carbon snoods? Any way had a cracking day and in the end we were all winners as was the RNLI
