There are numerous UK based fishing venue websites out there with half-complete information or just a limited number of fisheries in their directory. You have to ask yourself why people start these projects and do not complete them. Having said that, there are also a few good sites available to use. A colleague of mine at work has been working on one such website for a while and is in the market research stage of his operation.

Yesterday he passed me a survey to complete and today i am passing it to you. It takes no longer than 2 mins and i am sure the information gathered will be very beneficial to him. Please copy and post into you web browser. Cheers

Item 6 is an impossibility unless you tell what a 'venue' is ,commercial? Syndicate? ,club water? Every dot of blue on a map? Most ponds have no names on a map so a bit hard to collate

I think theres a bit of over reaching in the well intentions

I think even two pictures of every 'venue' would be a lifetime or two away for the average collector of such info and matters of trespass unless the said collector joined the club involved unless he was taking short cuts and using anothers snaps off the web and ofcourse sourcing the photographers details for permission to use them ,generally this is the reason the quest is never finished and websites not anywhere near what they promise

As for the premium rate what tactics work ,i bailiff a very small pond and am on it 5 days a week but i couldnt predict what tactic would work the next day never mind over a lifetime until the reviewer got around to asking the anglers whats hot that week.

Best of luck but i think the petrol used to get those photos (using your own gets around any copyright issues) will be far and above any monies raised running and maintaining an up to date site ,and unless its up to date its pointless and most people want more detail than what was the bait of the day 3 years after it was collected especially if money is involved

The good thing is though a website is easily updated ,a book (and theres been many) trying to do the same is obselete before its off the press

I suspect it's just like chesters intimated. Most people grossly underestimate the amount of work involved in such ventures.

The problem isn't what people don't know, it's what they know that just ain't so.
