Im a life long fisherman who has been living in Thailand for the last 7 years.

I fished my local pond as a child and progressed to carp fishing in my teens. Now that I can afford to travel for fishing adventures I keep myself based in Thailand, home of the real river monsters :-)

My personal best carp is 172lb Siamese carp. I have also caught an Arapima weighing over 300lbs, plus huge mekongs, chao praya, amazon redtail catfish over 100lbs and a freshwater stingray over 100lbs.

Hi and welcome to Anglers' Net.  From reading about your PBs, the river fishing over there must be really exciting at times.
