Whitstable 8th September

Fished my local beach from a gravel bar that stretches out nearly a mile known simply as the Street, waded out a long way at low tide and had just one nice plump bass about 3lb, I also caught my first herring gull, a pb! Luckily only lightly hooked in the foot so not too much drama releasing it. I was amazed how hundreds of gulls flocked round in support of their comrade, or maybe just laughing at it for being so stupid.

A stunning sunrise as well.
