Haveing taken delivery of his Yak, it seemed the right thing to do.......the Christening.

We went to our local Canal,nr Exeter, and launched from the rowing clubs staging.

Had a great paddle for about three miles in all.

Saw lots of people walking their dogs, joggers etc.

A few other people on the water, canoeists, and rowers.

Fisherman on the banks amoungst the rushes.

 

An ideal way to keep paddle fit for the comeing season , and a real nice location to do it.

Laurence was well at ease with his new ride by the time wed finnished.

Hes a bit put off with the feather of his paddle blades , and is looking to change their angles.

His Caper fisherman looked good on the water.

Need to get this problem with posting pics sorted out, bliddy thing

Maybe add some pics later.

I think the trouble I have is to do with the server.

Newt also offered to help, but I just cant get the pics to go......razzen fazzen ferkin thing .

aint been out for yonks, in fact have been doing very little apart from working like a loony.

Re the pics GF , no, Im not scanning them, I download them from my digi onto Infranview, they are all stored in files.

 

We havnt been out either.

Although, as youve proberbly seen, we have been on the Canal.

Great way of keeping paddle fit for the Summer.

Enjoyable to, quiet, calm, and nice to be there.

Yet another bonus to our chosen passtime.
