This posting probably only applies to Scottish members, or anyone down south whom reads the Daily Record.

 

Did I see an anglers net member in Fridays edition of the Daily Record in the fish of the week section with a lovely big fish???? which from the look of it was caught onboard another members boat? :):D

Nah! It was just a tiddler (mine was bigger)

Thanks Davy, Gillies,and Leon, It wasn't the size that mattered, it was the quality of the skipper and the speedy return to the water of the said fish, I actually put a lot more in about that, but it wasn't printed.I also told them about Alans much bigger fish, but.....to no avail. I think I've burnt my bridges tho' ,cause when I get my much bigger fish later on, I cant put that in, hey ho, theres always Boat Fishing, or TSF or Sea Angler. :rolleyes::D

Hiya, It aint a bad pic, is it. It was taken by an old English/Dutch guy of my aquaintance. Not much of a fisher ,but a bloody good photographer.

Alan, I've not got my badge yet, but I do have a Daiwa £100 tackle voucher, did you get yours... :D:D:D

No voucher but an all singing/dancing/makes the coffee brand spanking new DIGITAL CAMERA though :P

Will you be sewing the tackle voucher on your jacket :P:D

Hiya, Thanks for the good wishes for the wife alan, she goes in tomorrow evening, and the op is on Thursday,dont know what time tho'. I'll let you know later on on thursday evening. No, I won't be sewing it on my jacket, I will be casting my new slosh reel tho, I dont know whether to get the 20 or the 30, any ideas.I want a rough ground/light boat reel.
