you have a point, ive just got thermal trousers and jumper, they are tight fitting like lycra and i had them on while working on the car at 2 degrees and was rather cumfy, they also snug your nut sack for added comfort and pleasure

I still own and use these, both the trousers and the top. Bloody fantastic, they are.

we bought a few heated blankets for £3 each last year ,they come with a 7 amp hour battery (one of those gel ones) they last 1.5 hours so either you hump about more batteries or you get cold ,no doupt the jackets are similar.i bought them just for the batteries.

nothing new ofcourse a chap had one at the uni to use on his motorbike (along with heated gloves) they plugged into the bikes battery ,he got off nice and warm i got of blue and numb with someone else's legs :D

The heated vest worked a treat!

I sat on Willow lake at Decoy Lakes in Whittlesey, Peterborough yesterday and practised my feeder fishing with some nice results - 3 Crucian carp to 2lb a roach to 13oz and a small common to 2lb. Block end feeder with my own concoction of groundbait with a lovely red maggot filling. Yum! Oddly enough I had no good bites on worm so I stayed with maggots on the hook.

After a few hours I really started to feel the chill and even a walk to the car and back didnt help so I switched the heated vest on. After 2-3 minutes I felt a lovely warm sensation across my chest that stopped me shivering and cheered me right up. After a few more minutes I switched it off again. It went back on again just before I started packing up at 4pm.

I think they are well worth the £19.99 and if you pick up the battery charger that comes with 4 batteries then buy another 4 (the vest needs 6 x AA) then you wont have any more expense.

Well I just bought a charger so I might buy the vest and take all the batteries I want. Nice one Loopy.
