I hope they defined bass angler in some form or other??????

I'm a bass angler, but only on a minority of days.

We're all bass anglers around here by virtue of the fact that you can't get away from them these days. They're everywhere. Go sole fishing, catch bass. Go cod fishing, catch bass. Go thornback fishing, catch bass. Etc. I have to go carp fishing, just to get away from them :D

Any of them a decent size.

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

Around 300 anglers BOTHER to respond + 80 or so organisations.

We (hobbyist anglers, please) can't have it all ways ... you either join an organisation because of the representation/recognition that gives you OR you make your individual views known through consultation.

Unfortunately and misguidedly (in my opinion), most anglers don't respond and then others (commercials, hybrids and those with very different agandas) pull any anglers' responses apart by saying anglers actually DON'T want a say in their own futures.

The most we can hope for is to exert some small influence on 'the masterplan' (sic) which is almost certainly already on the tables at Whitehall and Brussels.

Agreed.

The fear i have with regards to the guys who are advocating doing nothing, walk away, do not negotiate is;

Quote:

'How well RSA meets the many challenges ahead (both negative and positive) will depend upon how well organised we are, and how well supported those who take on the challenges are.

Otherwise it's a case of leaving it to other groups to set the agenda which will fundamentally affect all of us in the years ahead.'

There's a very nice old geezer in my 'local', who enters into conversations which he has no idea what we're talking about.

He's quite deaf.

He always ends up with:

"That's LIFE ..... CAN'T change it."

LOSER!

Makes mee koofin' irritable!

MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL!

We always give nice old people lattitude (and respect) in particular the ones that have obvious disabilities, as one day.................

me and the misses met a nice old geezer during the year he had to stop his disability motor as his way was blocked by a car parked on the pavement. Unfortunatly i was working at the time so i could only spend 15 mins listening to him. Shame really as he flew with Guy Gibson. Wanted to listen to him all day.

simple don't go down the pub, be happy. :)
