posting photos

I've tried everything to post a photo up-I've looked at the photography section in the forum and tried everything they suggested but it never works for me

Richi you don't need to 'attach' an image as such. Just click the small picture icon of the tree (at top of your edit box) when you go to create a post and enter the url of the image.

 

eg click the tree icon and put in http://img345.imageshack.us/img345/545/dscf00175tx.jpg. Thats how I did it on your other post.

 

Alternatively simply surround the url of the image, http://img345.imageshack.us/img345/545/dscf00175tx.jpg with img tags [/img]

that only works if you've already hosted the picture somewhere though. attaching is the easiest and quickest way

I did that but the computer says no or rather that the image is too big or a dynamic image-I dunno I'll keep trying-not that it's worth posting a photo of the single species that I caught on the comp ha-ha
