Look. This goes some way to explaining why grass roots anglers didn't have any say in what happened to the RSA strategy - and why we haven't seen anything of it until it resurfaced earlier this week after being signed off by the minister.

I'd say we've been tucked up.

Don't know too much about facebook, but there's a 'Bin the RSA strategy' group on there now, if anyone wants to join it.

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because  they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

Hello Steve
Going on some recent remarks from local fishery officers I would not be suprised if that stategy is much further a head and more ready to be implimented than ordinary anglers realise.

It all makes very interesting reading, lots of jobs for the boys in the new IFCAs, but it will be interesting to see what happens after the election. The country is effectively bankrupt, we are told that we now have to bale out Greece, Portuga; and Spain as they are effectively bankrupt, and dont forget that Spain now owns most of our bankrupt banks. There is an awful lot of money going out in benefits and fighting wars, but we are going to waste more money policing anglers, unbelievable!!!

It could well depend on whether we elect Gordon to spend our way out of trouble or David who will no doubt knock a lot of daft ideas and quangoes on the head fairly quickly.

Looks like if you ar young you are in the **** for a long time, if you are getting on a bit like me not too much to worry about apart from playing Victor Meldrew as it all unfolds.

Reading between the lines the IFCAs are set up to manage it all
Clive

BUMP

I'm aware that the kent and Essex ifca are supporting an rsa strategy now, in particular the kent  ifca made reference to it in the 2012 rsa fish count. Has anything changed since a couple of years ago. What guys are supporting it and do they have a mandate or permission from the rsa to carry on with it. Or is it the case that the guys within the new ifca, know what is good and what the rsa require. I am aware that there are two rsa reps within the ifca and that one or both run the kent and Essex sea angling page on face book, however I am also aware they are particular who post's what on that page.

Can’t speak for Kent & Essex but here in Cornwall we are arranging an open meeting before moving forward with a strategy.

Anyone wanting further info should contact Ben Bradshaw at Cornwall IFCA on 01736 336842
