Then, just before going in. Literally on my last cast I caught this lovely little fellow - an immature Gilthead Bream:

This is the same little fish. It took a #4 chartreuse and white bonefish clouser. It just goes to show, you could possibly catch black bream on a fly too - you just need to get down to them.

The following day was not so clever. The wind had backed from the West to the East, or East South east and was blowing the wrong way for us to fish the mark effectively. However, we both caught a mackerel and we both caught another bass or two. I stayed out around the rocks at the turn of the tide and caught a little pollack. It was very interesting to see the difference in the fishing though. The wind really put the fish off. We did well not to blank - oh, and we saw a few garfish. Both of us got follows regularly, but they were just not quite convinced about the fly to take it.

That's it. No doubt barra will add something to this.

Mad Yakker - all I am going to say is that it is fairly close to Falmouth - somewhere between Truro and Penzance!
