Just had this through via e-mail from John Cheyne at the Angling Trust. Well worth going along, you might be shocked to find just how much latitude polluters get.

NW Forum Focuses On Pollution Issues

You are invited to attend the Angling Trust North West Fisheries Forum in cooperation with the Environment Agency

April 21st 2015

Tea and Coffee served at 6.45pm meeting begins 7.15pm

would you like to know....
• How does the EA classify pollution incidents ?
• How does the EA respond to different classifications of pollution incidents ?
• Who decides whether polluters should be prosecuted and how do they make their decision ?
• How do angling clubs and fishery owners get compensation for damage done to fisheries by polluters ?
• What can anglers do to help fight pollution ?

There will be speakers from both the Environment Agency and Fish Legal and there will be ample time for Q&A sessions with all speakers.

The meeting is OPEN TO ALL and FREE TO ATTEND

I wouldnt trust the AT to wipe my arse nor trust the EA to wipe it either

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

None of this "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" crap it just means i have at least two enemies!

 

There is only one opinion i listen to ,its mine and its ALWAYS right even when its wrong

 

Its far easier to curse the darkness than light one candle

Chop yer own branches down next time! Bit more rain and that'll be off downriver to spoil someone else's peg.

 

 

Goin off the winds and heavy rain that's just rolled in it'll get washed out to sea ! I can't belive this wind and rain hasn't been mentioned on the box.
