  1. Chris, do you want paying for the link ?
  2. Thanks jeepster, it has enabled me to uninstall Mailwasher. However, I reinstalled the old version and got the same problem immediately (message saying Mailwasher is already running).
  3. I do mean ending the "Process", not the "Application". Would it cause any lasting problems ?
  4. What would happen if I ended the Mailwasher "Process" in my Task Manager ? Would that uninstall Mailwasher, or stop it running ?
  5. I downloaded the recent update of Mailwasher Pro and have a problem. When I try to open Mailwasher Pro I get the message "Mailwasher Pro is already running". My Task Manager says its not running and in the Processes section it is static. I have posted a question on the Firetrust Forum, but will wait sometime for a reply. I need to access my old emails on Outlook Express and tried to uninstall Mailwasher Pro, but can't as its "running". How do I uninstall Mailwasher Pro in these circumstances ?
  6. Ramos going is no surprise to me , but Redknapp taking over is. Perhaps the rumours that Portsmouth are in severe financial problems is true.
  7. Piscatorial Porn, whatever next.
  8. Mr Jones has now got all the bad "feedback" he didn't want in the first place, I suspect he will be reinventing himself on Ebay (or he will never sell another thing). In the circumstances as described, if I had been the Buyer I would have left negative feedback.
  9. I would risk my life to save my wife, or my children, without any second thought. I would do everything I could (apart from risking my life) to save someone else. However, who can say what impulses we would react to in circumstances where, for instance, someone else's toddler fell into a river. I can't swim by the way.
  10. "brim", "brim" ??? You haven't been there that long and you are even talking like Rex Hunt. Glad you are having a great time, but don't forget how to talk proper.
  11. Thanks for the responses, much appreciated.
  12. I have AVG 8.0.169 installed (fee paying one) and it is scheduled to a full scan daily. This starts at 11am and can take over 3 hours. During this time my PC slows down considerably. I don't leave my PC on 24 hours a day, so can't schedule the scan to take place when I'm in bed. My question is, do I really need to scan my PC daily ? AVG has loads of features that are supposed to stop nasty things getting into my PC from any source and that protection is "real time". I tend to think that scan are more "after the event" protection.
  13. How do you post a YouTube video without the whole page appearing ? I see some on here with just a video screen.
  14. Thats not a bad price for a 6500. Do carp anglers use multipliers ?
  15. Thanks Ian, much appreciated.
  16. I need some spare spools (5-7 or S-7 ?) for a Shimano XT7 4010 baitrunner. Does anyone have any information on likely contacts, please. My friend Google has let me down on this one.
  17. If it was compulsory "catch and kill", I suspect I would lose a lot of fish at the net (much as I do at trout lakes that are "catch and kill"). If angling was banned, I would stop angling, much as I have stopped hunting with hounds.
  18. I have found the "freshness life" varies so much between flavours/ base mixes/manufacturers, that I now freeze all boilies and try to only take enough with me for a days fishing (easy to judge after a while), I do not freeze thawed leftover baits.
  19. Another "computer illiterate" question. Having been away for over a month I have quite a few updates queueing , including Service Pack 3 for XP. On the download box it says to back up all my existing stuff before downloading the Service Pack. As I can't be bothered to do this (even if I knew how), is it safer to either download without the back up, or just not to bother to install the Service Pack ? I don't ever use Internet Explorer anymore (just in case this has any relevance). All comments and advice will be appreciated, as usual.
  20. I thought there was going to be an "umbrella" organisation for all the Angling Federations/Alliances/Specialist Groups etc., to be consolidated into and this organisation would have Government funding to cover its staff costs etc.
  21. They most certainly did and what was also not surprising, they had heard my complaint many, many times.
  22. Thanks for the advice and I intend looking at the Canon range. I took the offending item into a camera shop this morning and they confirmed other opinions I have received that it is a battery problem. Apparently Kodak cameras do not operate efficiently on alkaline batteries, even if they are the long life ones and brand new. The preferred batteries are the Kodak rechargeable ones. The camera has to go.
  23. Thanks Tony, but being a complete novice and a "luddite", I need something that is far simpler and will fit easily into my pocket (which is the only good thing I have found with the Kodak C875 ).
