sorry to hear off your loss ,i had mine whipped a few years ago ,i scoured the second hand shops and tracked some down ,unfortunatly i could not positivly identify them enough to reclaim them .i now mark all of my stuff ,i have a small dremel type grinder and i marked all the reel seats with my post code and initials,the rods had an inch of varnish removed above the handle and my postcode scratched on and inked in then revarnished,i know this wont help you now (bolting door after horse has bolted ) but if you do it with your new stuff ,then its better than seing stuff in shops you know is yours but not being able to prove it,my heart goes out to you .

when i left school i became an office boy ,i was advised to go to night school to learn typing ( to advance my career to office juvenile i suppose) unfortunatly as soon as we`d paid the fees for the night school the firm i worked for had on of its chaps to teach me the " willy schiedecker? " method for 1 hour a day ,this was a completly different process to the night school one ,i couldnt leave the nightschool as my parents had scraped the money together for the fees ,and i couldnt refuse the work one ,the end result is i type one fingered like most journalists
