  3. Sadly you again fail to read whats typed!!!! Maybe i should have typed it better. I didnt type it cant do full manual. i put for learning you want a camera with full manual setting.<<<<The . is a full stop i then went onto say i would avoid the d40 the chap asked for advise thats what i gave
  4. For learning, you want one that can handle fully manual settings. Avoid the D40. Although it's a great camera, it can't drive the older screw-drive AF lenses. This will limit your 2nd hand choices.

  11. Canon EF 28-300 f/3.5-5.6L IS USM Just had a full service and new usm by canon.
