  3. dont have time or the inclination to make my own stuff so dont mind paying.if your on a budget i have no doubt its worth it
  4. fishing my local pond,bream,tench ,carp in there...last time i went i only caught bream but was happy just to catch.all the bream where caught using flavoured pellets so thought i would have a go with worms.
  5. have got myself a tub full of nice juicy worms and am going to have a go with them tomorrow on the feeder.just wanted to know the best way to present them on the hook?should i cut them up into small pieces or hook them up without cutting them up? cheers chris

  7. i sometimes have this problem,just not sure if it tangles when i am reeling in.i keep having a go with differant setups.but i am now catching fish on the feeder so i must be starting to do something right. maybe the experianed guys could post some pics of there setups so us novices can try differant setups

  10. well my 6th visit to my local pond and i have finally caught some fish think i have finally mastered it allthough i had a few more baits to try today

  13. hi,is it ok to mix up groundbait the day before you are going to use it?going to my local venue tomorrow it will be my 6th time and hopefully i will catch something this time ..funny thing i have no patience but seem to find some for fishing
  14. used to enjoy a fishing programme with two guys presenting it cant remember what they called it now.always looked as though they where using old type tackle

  18. how did the cortland braid go? think you are right with having some decent stuff,thought about trying the 20lb
  19. have had a look round to see if i could find any pics of feeder rig setups but cant find any.anyone with a pic of there setup would be appreciated just so i can see if i have got mine set up correctly cheers chris
  20. hi mate the braid is new first time i have used it today
  21. well had my first go today,had a fish on but i lost it and then nothing,few little bites but i suppose thats the way it goes sometimes.one or two other anglers where catching the odd few.what i did find was i was getting a lot of tangles round my feeder for some reason,i had my hook length,weight and a small feeder stop then the feeder,a guy near me said to put a weight either side of the feeder but i thought that was wrong?any ideas? cheers chris
  22. no mate i did found some old line so used that as a backing,going to my local pond to have a go later...all the gear and def no idea will take my float rod just incase. will take some photos of my setup so i can post up here and just see if i have done it right cheers chris
  23. yes got a spare spool,braid came with the reel today,will call into shop and get some more line like you say.not sure what knot to use to fasten together so will ask shop if they will do it. thanks chris
