Chub Frenzy

I will be fishing from a kayak or a speed boat in Herne bay, kent and need to know if anyone has any experiance there. There is a old pier about 500m away from the shore and i was thinking of putting some mackeral feathers around or maybe spinning a spoon. I need to get something that will draw the fish (if there are any) from under the pier to out in the open. I was thinking some sort of CHUM?????

I am going to El gouna in 2 weeks and want to do some fishing aswell as diving, even spear fishing. What about the famous 'Nile Perch' anyone know anything about that. Dont really want to bring my own tackle r rodsso anywhere to hire stuff would be good.

I have looked at the Fiesta Dagger Kayak and like what i see want a kayak for river, and sea,maybe a bit of surf, I will also fish from it. Any other sugestions would be good.

there are loads of pools. The canal is my favorite. The island is 7m so pole or rod float fishing right out at the island try the freezied cat meat on a size 12 - 14 or hair rigged as it is quite mushy and hard to hook. at th island it is about 2 ft deep. In the bottom pool pellets on a size 12 hook either out near the island or inbetween some of the islands. I only use float and once used a legered weight with a piece of cheese and caught a 13lbs carp, but have never tryed it again as go to the canal pool now.

What is the strongest pole elastic u can get

This is a bit of a stupid quesion but i need to know, what is the strongest elastic u can put in a pole. and has anyone fished shrewly lakes fishery.

I think it might be bream as they are black and cool and it is not pike as thy dont stock them. He had a look at my keep net and i had f1, f2 and common carp in there so its not carp.

I dont think it is barbel as he asked about submarines then said 'have u caught any of th barbel' which my reply was yes.

I was fishing in TUNNEL BARN FARM, SHREWLY when a guy came around and asked if i had caught any submarines. I thought he was joking at first, thinking of the submarine submarine, then realised he was serious, i just said no as i thougt i would look stupid if i said 'whats a submarine'. I will be boat fishing in Whistable and herne bay are there any recomended sopts to fish

i was thinking of making a sweetcorn paste by liquidizing sweetcorn then adding sweetcorn juice amd flour together ,do u think i will need yellow food colouring if so is ay brand ok.

I was fishing last week with my friend when we ran out of bait. The tacle shop was closed so we asked some fisherman if we could have some of theirs, and ay them. One guy gave us some homade paste which ws amazing nd another gave us some ringers bag up paste which was the same sort of ingrediants i think. Any recipes woldhelp but not to expensive.

This may sound stupid but would chucking in a few balls of fishmeal groundbait lure fish in or is it a waste of time and groundbait.

So when i get a mile away i will use the emergency oars. Do you think being on the pier and jigging next to the pier will work.

Does anyone know a mackerel shoal or shoals near Herne Bay/Whistable, Kent. How can you spot a shoal.

I amdisapointed that knowone has replied. Shorely someone knows someting about this topic. What sort of jig? Will It work?

I have looked at sea searcher and think it looks quite good but there is a place called bayblast which is closer to us (we have a house inbetween Whistable and Herne Bay) but i dont know if it i any good. Can anyone suggest a good fishing trip.

When you cook a mackerel is there a legal size it has to be, as i have seen people bag fish that look like they are under 6 inches long. How do you unhook them with out touching it.

I was wondering how to catch mackerel or any other fish in a speed boat not to far from the shore. I will be fishing in Whistable or Herne Bay in Kent i want to catch lots of fish and hopefully eat them at the end of the day. i was thinking some feathers on hooks jigged up and down but have know real boat knowlage.

The part of river i fish in is in warwick, warwicshire in st nicholas' park. I want to lure fish but i know there are pike zander and perch in there. I need a lure perfect for them all... Any info will help Thanks Chub Frenzy

I have fished across from the RSC and i caught 3 huge chub but their is a amazing place called Coxs Yard which is very close by. It is a Pub&Coffee shop&Tea room on the river and the water is so clear you can see huge chub and big carp.

I am disapointed that no one has replied to my post on fishing in warwick so does anyoneno anything about fishing for pike on the river avon, stratford..... warwick.....hampton lucy.........wasperton............... I want to fiish in the river avon in warwick and was wondering ifi wouldcatch anything with a lure. If so what type of lure. Does anyone know if there are barbel,bream or chub in that area of water and how to catch them. The actual area of river is the river in St Nicholas' Park. Many thanks CHUB FRENZY
