I have brought a reel from Argos before, a bait runner for only £24.99, in my opinion if you look after your stuff well like I did mine I will last a good while, ive had my reel for 4 years and it still works fine with a bit of maintenance, money well spent.

Hi I use the sink and draw method on my fox 9' 30-130 grams jerk bait rod and it does the job perfect, dead bait rods will work well, but I would use a jerk bait rod, also don't forget to use braided line, this will mean you can jerk and twitch the bait in small fast darts and this will look more realistic, hope that helps! Pike fishing, hopefully my river will produce a pike for once, I went fishing last weekend and out of 5 people and 8 rods the only thing what happened was me loosing my new lure.

Hi, I live near castor and never fished it there but if your after big fish pike and zander might be worth while on a dead bait or spinner but if not you could try for a few roach on a feeder, hope that helps.
