  12. Hi Peter A cheaper (and better - IMO) alternative to the egg albumen is blood meal.Used at the rate of 5% of your mix it will significantly harden your baits - it will also mean you can cut boiling times and it will darken your bait considerably. It's nutritional profile is second to none. Cod liver oil is as cheap as chips and is an excellent fat source. You could consider adding dried brewers yeast - this goes well in any bait and I've had a lot of sucess with it in fishmeals at 5%. Fishmeals vary a little in quality - you may want to look at LT94 which is a superb low temp meal that rolls better than any other.I think it's around £28 for a 25gk sack - great value. One mix which I have done particularly well on is as follows: 8oz LT94 2oz Robin Red 1oz Dried Brewers Yeast 1oz Bloodmeal 4oz Semo 2oz Calf milk replacer 2oz CLO Works out at £2 a kilo (dry).Add 10ml cod liver oil and 3ml Shellfish sense appeal per 20oz mix and you end up with a nice dark, firm, nutritional, cheap bait that will catch you loads and cost you little. Cheers BB

  15. Phil I hope that the "time waster" comment isn't aimed at me - as I was the high bidder first time 'round I can only assume that it is.I did not meet your reserve price and was not prepared to pay the extra - end of story. Dean
