Nice articals Steve ,good read.I was just woundering wat your thoughts of using dryed blood/blood meal for perch???If it's worth it wat is the best thing to mix it with crumb? Thanx in advance.

Fished a club water on Thursday night had 2 carp 18.5lb and 12lb missed two runs and lost a fish.

With Steves permission and some luck i'd love to have a go this year.

Is wat your describing the same as using a feeder/bight pannel thingy but with out the pannel?

I allways think your in with a chance with a Carp had a great winter my self so don't think there is a best time IMHO.

Big G fished Moore Quarry a few times ,never caught/landed a fish but lost a couple,are Paul(my brother has had 1 10lb bream out of there),best pegs are the ones right in front of the car parking (looks like a point swimfish with your back to the car park) into the bushes to the left .My advice is take a marker float down there and plumb it up and find the old gravel road that goes right round the lake is abit shallowof that road as well as the rest of the lake is up to 30feet deep ,Allso i beleave the fist peg in the bay part are good for pike/perch and alot of the carp can be caught in the margins.Never had any look my self though.

Is this line made by Pro Logic?I've just pickt up some x line,in the 8lb breaking strain for feeder fishing and it's thinner than the usall 6lb maxima.Seems ok from the look of it.

My birds brother had one today while fishing double maggot on a commercial bear in mind.

As i say i never bought it intentionally .The recommended dosage on the bottle is 1 tea spoon to every 50g.I'll give it a try anyways got it now so might as well .. Once again Thanx everyone.

Yeah I'm with Budgie i use Maxima all most all the time,but i have personally found anything betwen 3lb and 8lb breaking strain doesn't seem to last so long always found it goes very fraid(only way i can describe it sorry) after a month or so,so I'm changing the lines on my spools quite often(only seem to have this probalam on 4lb,5lb and 6lb never tryed the 7lb). Another one i'd recomend is Fox Camo Soft Steel only used this in the 10lb breaking strain but it seems to be fine .

I've did a search on tinternet ,and am still a little un sure how to use it???From Wat i can gather it's just a dry dog food witch you add boiling hot water to at the bank side then add Wat ever additives you would like to use???Is this correct?

Anyone know wat this is like just sent some the shop for some bits and bobs and they came back with all the wrong stuff including a very dear bottle of Betaine HCI ,someone please tell me i haven't just had my money compleaty wasted.Cheers.

Cheers Puzzled much obliged but wat is CSL???I've got "Dynamite baits SwimStim feed Mormuler" here recomended by local tackle shop delear.Was thinking of using this with a mixture of wat youv'e just said. I use quite a lot of Dynamite Baits stuff so i thought this stuff would be allright??? Cherss.

Wat does everyone use with there method mix?I haven't fished the method in years and never really did it properly.Do people add brown/white crumb to there method mix?Vitalin??

I usually take a book sometimes not even that,in the summer I'll sit out side till tired usually about 2amish then go to sleep and wake at sunrise and observe the lake throw out the day :s

Glad to see it's not just me whos been haveing trouble with them lately,wounder if it's the time of year?Had a ok day today with them my self ,as i was fishing preety close in so waveing the old landing net did the trick today thank christ.Still never manerged to catch anything decent ha ended up fishing for bits had 30+ skimmers about 1/2 pound each carp just wern't haveing it at all.

Does anyone know of any decent methods of getting rid of ducks when fishing in about 4 ft deep water ,my last two sessions have been ruined due to ducks diving and taking my lose feed/hook bait.It's only when ledgering i have this problem as sometimes there to far away to spook with just noise or the raise of arms. Cheers.

Nope i never got to see Mike Oldfields house mate,but did do a fair bit of traveling mostly up to the north of the island so many nice sights,also got to see Es Verada witch was magnificent and had a trip over to Formentera witch i'd recommend to anyone.Also did a fair bit of dancing .My 3rd year over there this summer just can't get enough of it. As for that black dot,i can't explain Wat happened there ,been wondering that my self since i took the pic???
