    Ultrabite

I realise it's probably been discussed before but wondering if many on here have used it. I see it is now being advertised as "buy one, get one free", is this because nobody is buying the stuff and they need to shift stock-piles of it? Any good?

    Weymouth

Loony, if the weather isn't bad have a trip to Portland Bill. Had some fun float fishing off the rocks there a couple of years ago.
  3. Newt, This is actually been shown on our TV at the present. Also seen a program article about the making of the ad. and the time it took them to shoot. As you say it is all genuine and took many shoots to get it spot on.
  4. Thanks for the tip Newt. Just out of interest, how many pages are these cartridges likely to print? Also seen this evening in ASDA a refill kit which retailed for just £8.99 (black), are these a good idea as the genuine Lexmark cartridges are around £28.
  5. Thanks Matt, but why?.....control stock levels, for food, just for the sake of being an evil b**tard?
  6. Shocking! Excuse my ignorance, but what actually is "gill netting" and what is the purpose?
  7. Thanks Ken, received your e-mail with the maps last night. Hopefully get to put them to good use next week. Ta, much appreciated
  8. Lurking Pike sssshhhhh! Birmingham/fazeley.
  9. How hard are them... What about an easy one for the new guy...something like "how heavy is a 2oz weight?"
  10. Great site Dave, got to get some of that sweet tobacco!
  11. Thanks Chesters and mdg, nothing at all is being printed now. The printer goes through the motions but the paper comes out as clean as a whistle? Think i'll buy a new cartridge to see how it goes. Thanks again all
  12. Lurking Pike That's a worrying stance by BAA as they have recently acquired a stretch of the canal that I mentioned holds zander.
  13. Thanks both, i'll give it a go.
  14. I have a Lexmark Z25 printer, for the last couple of weeks it seems that the ink has been running out as it is printing in a faded red/pink colour with poor definition. The thing is though that the on screen display shows that the cartridge is 5/8ths full. I'm pretty new to computing and as of yet not needed to renew the cartridge.

    Good Idea?

Make a good butt rest Jim!
  16. I wouldn't like to get involved with the politics of this subject but tend to agree with Peter Martin. I'm sure nature has a way of controling these things and considering the numbers involved don't see any need for any mass kull. I'm by no means an expert on the subject but having caught zander by accident and by design from the canals in Staffordshire over the years I can say I havn't noticed any reduction in the numbers of silver fish in these waters. I have read articles about some river stretches that have been "decimated" by zander but really coundn't justify an "educated" opinion on this as my own experiences on these river stretches are strictly limited. Ant p.s. I've spoken to anglers that have tried to convince me to "whack 'em on the head and chuck 'em on the bank" but am happy to say they are always carefully unhooked and returned to fight again. Even though I believe I am breaking the law by doing so. [ 26. May 2003, 07:42 PM: Message edited by: aanthony ]

Well they do think the rear view mirror is there for applying make-up.

    I'm here

Thanks for the welcome everyone. Now where are the competitions?
  19. Look very interesting Newt, always after something new to try and the prices are fantastic. Any idea on what the shipping cost would be on the 2 boxed sets as it's difficult to get an idea of the size and weight by a picture?

My pleasure Alan, great bit of kit!
