As for there being more to the story, yes there is, some weeks prior he walked full tilt whilst texting on his mobile phone into Brenda's wheelchair, causing her great pain. When I told him that texting while doing something else is a no-no, he got so verbally belligerent, the security man from the supermarket nearby, came over and "escorted" him away from the area! He visits a house near me, so he knows where I live! Was I in the wrong? or racist? PLEASE!!!!

The problem is that you have policemen and you have policemen. Some are PC and others are not! To give an example: My van was "keyed" and both the police and I had an idea who it was, but no truth. Some three weeks later, I took Brenda (and a friend, thank God!) to the market at the square, when this individual saw me and ducked behind some cars. I went back to fetch my crutch as our friend pushed the wheelchair, and saw this individual sauntering away from my vehicle. He shouted out "Someone key your van?, WHAT A PITY!!" and walked over to me and put his face in mine and said "it should have been your face"!! I leaned against him as I had just been operated on my shoulder, and tried to phone the police with my mobile - he knocked the phone out of my hand, breaking it. I asked a passer by to phone the police as he was doing his level best to knock my lights out. The police arrived and arrested him and he said I assaulted him, punching him in the chest, so I was arrested. At the police station I was interviewed and showed them the scars as proof I could not have punched him. They said that they would interview him and come back to me. 3 and a half hours later my cell doors were opened and I was told to leave as there were no charges against me. I had to go back to the square by taxi (our cars aren't taxis) and never did find out what happened to him, even after several phone calls!! Oh, I forgot to tell you, he is a Serb!!

I wonder if someone is going to defend OUR stance, if we were like Denmark, Britain could be great again. Just go to any international sports event and watch the immigrant "British" crowd cheer when England is beaten!

The police used to stop people in cars and test for driving under the influence - now the check for drink AND drugs. I have been told stories by those who have been "tripping" while using weed: corners disappearing and becoming voids,becoming paranoid and, most worryingly, taking risks while under the influence. IMHO the government, for once, are absolutely right. After all wouild you like to be T-boned by someone "high" and didn't see the stop sign?

I know these paricular instances aren't, but a lot are. One instance is that TWO men went into a house to rob it, the owner (in his 60's) picked up a knife as there were two of them and stabbed one of them. the owner was charged because the two (young) robbers weren't!!

How the H*LL can that man (incapability Brown) live with himself??? Mind you he was not sitting with the royals, the opposition was! They were praying for the soldiers safe return, but his own men have admitted to the press that money was "a feature" in the lack of proper protection for our guys and galls who are over there fighting for Britain!

All I am saying is that the EU clearly states that ALL heads of state have signed the treaty. They haven't!! The Queen will HAVE to sign for that statement to come true! No matter what is said and done - she IS the head of state - even if it is titular. I somehow can't see teflon Tony or Incapability Brown approaching her and saying "errr Will you sign this please ma'am" when asked what it is, what do they say? if they tell the truth "it means that we will, effectively, be ruled by Europe. We will have to obey THEIR laws, even if it is the opposite of OUR laws!" I'd love to be a fly on the wall when they get the answer to that!!

I think we should contact the government and pop their little bubble - we have NOT ratified the EU treaty as the head of state for this country has NOT signed it. By the way, no matter what the government tries to say, the head of state for this country is H.M. the Queen. So therefore the EU "immigrants who come here CAN be refused admission!

Chesters, Your first posting on here is incorrect. The only legal way you can come to this country as an immigrant holding a valid passport (or now proof of citizenship) of an EU country. We are an island, we do not have borders with other countries that may cause people to flee in fear of their lives!! The entire EU have their own take on this, shipping them to France so they can (illegally) hop across the channel. Sangatte and other "camps" like that prove it! If anyone cares to read up on refugees, it states clearly that the refugee must seek asylum in a NEIGHBOURING country, or the nearest they can move to without fear of retribution!! Who are our neighbours?

I notice that a few of the posters here are making reference to the mods, and one mod in particular. If you care to look at the old threads that HAVEN'T been closed, you will see that there have been some pretty confrontational threads there that have NOT been "modded" as they were about the ball, not the player. As to the closed threads, I have been involved in a few and, AFAIK, they always seem to be closed when the slurs start to appear about the posters - to me that is good modding! I know that I have a bit of a reputation for putting contentious issues on the forum, but they always seem to draw a lot of opinion about the SUBJECT!

Thank you MrM. For your info (those who were blaming Newt) Newt was away, enjoying some well earned rest from all us reprobates. I personally think he does a wonderful job! It would seem that he is ALWAYS on duty on this site - giving little nudges when people are getting carried away and go personal, yet for the main, letting us get on with posting!

I think the main problem is that there are certain members on this forum who don't care what is written, only in trying to demean the poster. Of course there will be conflicting views, that is why it is called a forum, but there is no nead to demean someone who disagrees with you!

OK then YOU show US the way forward (there IS another way - make a very large area available, fence it off and put all users in there - but that's CRUEL and takes away his human rights - never mind other peoples human rights!) We need something to be done!! We are all full of ideas but it is just rhetoric!! That why I agreed (and still agree) with MrM!

Those of you who are saying "it is up to the person" - If only this was so!! I couldn't care one fig if somebody thinks so little of their body that they fill it with poisons BUT What about the INNOCENT people who are possibly walking by and killed "because he looked at me funny" or whatever else their drug filled deluded brain imagines!! Why must ordinary people have to live in fear of being attacked, as it is now more and more becoming part of the norm!

To answer Snakies snide remarks - Oxygen is freely available WHEREVER you are and therefore NOT classified as a drug. Marijuana, Heroin and others of that ilk are! If you APPROVE of these so called "harmless" drugs (in which I include Alcohol), I dare you to go and stand outside the ambulance entrance of the A&E department over a weekend!! I had a friend who died of alcohol poisoning and I had another that was reduced to a cabbage in intellect and looking after himself after taking meth-amphetamine! Look at the amount of stabbings where the culprit has pleaded leniency because he "was under the influence of drugs" at the time! Most of them stated afterwards that they were all smoking pot when an argument happened and the person was stabbed. We've all tried it - some stayed and some didn't - that's the argument!

Ok then, let,s make ALL drugs legal - as long as you have a doctors prescription! Then it is down to the medical fraternity and NICE to make the conditions. If somebody dies from an O/D then it is down to the doctors, I can think of thousands of MS sufferers who would benefit, pain relief-wise! Talk to the MD's that work at A&E as ALL drugs means ALL drugs which will include all tobacco products, most alcoholic beverages and definitely all pain killers! It will put us back in the dark ages, sure, but it would stop D**kheads misusing poisons! (or didn't you know that ALL drugs are poisons to a degree, just some more than others). I for one would love to see the church yards without the oblgatory P**shead in it, stoned out of their minds (not always with alcohol) and wearing filthy rags as, if you try and help him financially, they will just go and more of whatever is blowing their minds! Just think no aspirins, or any other pain relief unless you have a doctors prescription!! NO - lets leave things as they are and rely on Joe public to be sensible!

Interesting article in the Telegraph today saying that the heads of state of ALL nations have signed!! Funny - I always thought the Queen is the head of state and SHE hasn't signed it!!

Sportsman - You say you drove for years under the influence of codeine. If you had read the instructions it states quite clearly. IF YOU ARE TAKING THIS MEDICINE, DO NOT DRIVE OR OPERATE MACHINERY! If you had have been stopped they would have (rightly) charged you!
