The thing is, up until a week or so ago, pressing the "Back" button would always take you back to the original forum page with the yellow flags etc, nowadays it seems to only work 50% of the time. The rest of the time it seems to be the page from the last time I visited the forums Additional.... I've been reading through the rest of the forums and the "Back" button has worked perfectly each time. Before I replied to this message there were 4 replies (so mine makes 5). Now I've just gone back to the NFC forum and the page seems to have changed to one from earlier this evening, with only 2 replies to this thread  [ 26 March 2002, 12:15 AM: Message edited by: John S ]

What canal will you be fishing? Someone here might have fished it him/herself recently.... I fish a canal pretty regularly, but as you well know, every canal is different. Let us know where you'll be fishing, and if you don't get any joy after that I'll post again with a few tips

I get the same problem, I click on the "Back" button from the thread, but the forum isn't the same. I have to Refresh to get the proper page back up. Annoyingly, it doesn't always happen like that, sometimes it works normally....

My earliest "proper" fishing (rather than netting sticklebacks ) was when I was about 12 or 13. A couple of pals used to go fishing with their uncle, and one day he asked if I'd like to go fishing too. I went, and was addicted immediately. Later that year he gave me one of his cane rods as a Christmas present and, armed with a brand new Black Prince, went fishing almost every weekend with my mates, usually accompanied by their uncle Tom. I still have the rod and reel, and still take them out fishing on occasions. Unfortunately I lost touch with them all years ago (if Chris or Tony B read these forums, please get in touch....). I imagine that by now Tom has passed away. I will however always treasure the memories of those early fishing trips, when everything bar the rod was carried in a plastic bag hooked over the handlebars, with the rod tied to the crossbar.

I'm clutching at straws here, but could the rubber end from a snooker cue be made to fit? [ 23 March 2002, 11:01 PM: Message edited by: John S ]

Spangles, before you go to your dealership to order a new engine, ask them if they supply re-conditioned or short-block engines as well (a short-block engine is where they basically replace the middle bit, and just use the very top and bottom [cams, cam covers, valves etc) of your old engine if they can still be used) - they will be far cheaper.... Everyone.... Get your timing chains/belts replaced about 10,000 miles before they are due!
