    hey

i really like the look of the the red-finned cichlid ( labeotropheus trewavasae.i find them very visualy pleasing. but it is the female that mouthbroods rather that the male as with most mouthbrooders. an other possability is the nyasa blue cichlid ( pseudotropheus zebra) you may have noticed that the two examples i have choosen are blue, but a striking blue i must admit. 2. ohh i miss my old dog.. (true story) remember bringing him with me fishing for the first time. every cast, he was behind me waiting for the feeder to try and grab it! thankfully he never did! anyway bout hour/ hour and a half into session i hooked a nice large perch and was reeling him in AND.... you guessed it a big pike grabed it. he wasnt hooked just held onto the perch. ( have heard many a story where a pike would do similar all the way to the bank and let go at last minute)so with that in mind i slowly played him and had net ready well in advance JUST INCASE! well my lil companion(first time remeber) was at the edge of the bank tail wagging anxiously and without warning jumped in at the pike and managed to catch it and land it without a single mark. well needless to say that just took the **** outta me i just sat there lookin at him lookin at me with the pike at his feet. well for every person who said the following including me if i got a penny every time... if i only had a camera! well that day he put me to shame, a first timer landed the bigest catch of the day, a first timer, a feckin dog! alas sadly he is no longer with me, dont get me wrong hes not dead, just in a new home, sometimes im sorry i had to give him up but it was better for him, larger garden and all that! 7. there are a lot of things i give out about here in ireland, the miserable weather, the crp food, the rip off prices most of all!!! BUT of things i love to brag of is NO BLOODY rod licence and no intentions of bringing the damn thing in. ok for any smart asses about to make a comment YES we do have a licence for trout but thats it and that dont affect me anyway! so for once i can say with pride hoorayy ireland [ 19. 11. well so far this weekend, here we have had terrential rain, 80mph gales, snow, hail and flooding. so first weekend free and still no fishing! however i really feel for the folk hard hit in north of england whom where badly hit with the weather some having nearly all thier possesions, livleyhood destroyed. maybe i have my facts wrong but from what ive seen on the news its what it looks like to me. what on earth is wrong with our weather lately? never mind the weather nature in general has gone potty! first the tsunami now our own weather system gone mad! when will it stop? without doubth i would guess most people have made a donation in one way or an other, if not..please do give they need it! 15. just a quick qustion ... am i the only irish angler on this site? was just wonderin.....
  16. And werthers!... congrats mate!
  17. an alternative is to check the credits at end of the shows it just may give theme music title! i know not all programmes show them some just say somethin like: music by.xxxxx but some actually name the titles. passion for angling really does have some enchanting and aluring music..if you do come across it please let us know, visa versa of course!
  18. An other possability i have found is the boistours and far from shy eel! but then maybe im the unlucky chappy that it happens to. as far as trying a different method to hooking the worm im in total agreement. trying to thread the worm onto the hook and up the line leaving a little tail free. hence the fish (whatever the culprit) is more likely to be hooked! well thats my 2pence worth anyway! 19. Well last year i got very little if any fishing done! between work and one thing or another! When i DID finaly get to the river, either the water was way to high or the bait shop was closed! SO this year i have made my self a promise, MORE fishin! alot more.( work permitting). so was i the only one in this situation or where there more poor unfourtunates? i know one particular permanet misfortunate from suffolk ( but lets keep that to our selves if your readin!) so a VERY happy new fishin year to all!
