Hi Ferret what waters are they fishing on prehaps some poeple here are members of the clubs which has the rights to fish the waters.Becuase fishing on these waters which have a close season is breaking the law.I am not too sure why drains are classed as rivers prehaps because they connect to naturual rivers or been convert from original rivers in the past.

Phone the Police or contact the EA I believe the drains and the rivers in the Fens has still a close season

I am just wondering how the law lay with dealing with people fishing on waters with a close season and can the police be involed ?

Not a great season fishingwise but met a lot of fellow anglers on the net which was great had the pleasure of fishing with Chris Bishop what a sound guy he is.Fished on the River severn for the first and was disgusted with the litter and the welfare of pike on that water also fished the Warickshire Avon and fell in love with it,but the same litter problem there too but hooked and lost my first zander ever, still theresnext season catch my first z. But I have just been watching a profile of Sadam on TV theres a old film of him and his goverment he only been in power one day when this film was taken thefirst he did was to name people in this hall who opposed him. I wonder what his daughters think of him after he killed their husbands.
