well i went down the cannal in the week and got nout fished a pool by shrewsbury on saturday and got nout... still a mate of mine (whos a fishing guru)went to his local pool on sat as well and got nout....it made my day to here that he blanked cause i thought it was me doing something wrong......out of interest this pool i fish by shrewsbury is in a town called Wem. its by a industral estate does any one know the name of the pool ?

well the last three outings ive had in the last fortnite the sort with batter on ist ya best bet i think

i know what ya going through.. but next time ya on the bank just ask him to put a fish on for ya ....it works for me

when in brum,goo up the cut(go to the canal in english)and there's loads of them. you'll get a good mix of course fish and only pay a couple of quid if ya unlucky enough to be approached by a baliff. some good resevours there too.as for camping and fishing shropshire cant be beat

id like to fish with Matt Hayes ....but at £450 a day ill buy a telly dvd the complete set of Wet Nets and a small generator and watch them on the bank instead

at six quid odd for a perscription id want the hooks, ground bait and day ticket as well

my mates got a face that spooks carp but fishery owners still allow him to fish swims by other anglers...should this be allowed?

a trip to some pool in worcester planed weeks ago is all-most here and the dam forcast is just 4 deg.Would it be advise to use some sort of ground bait on a cold day. the lads at work have been spending a fortune and diggin up worms all week. any one else out on friday and if so what will ya be using

bloody hell what a responce...as im a angler back to the sport after 10 years and watchin every fishin program(apart from fishin australia) :confused: i can i think Matt gets it for me he explanes things better and makes ya want to get out there and have a go ya self. whilst wilsons entertaining enough i was watching one episode of go fishing (as i am now)when he cast out for a carp...the float was green and red. "Yes were in.wow what a klonker off my first cast" as he landed the fish the float was black and orange...UUMMM

im off to willow marsh of friday with mates from work any tips on how to beat them ....they use the pole but im a strict rod and real chap. any advice peeps?

sounds like ya after the same thing as me.... i ve been to look at some sites for tourers with fishing ....a good one was the red lion inn by cheltenam right on the seven and a pool on the site as well...pearl likes near leominster was aalso a good site i6 acre fishing lake on site i shall be going to look at some more after christmas so if any one know any in the shropshire area keep me posted

i went down my local cannal yesterday. got there at 10 o clock and for 2 hours it was a bite every cast. a good haul of perch tench and roach...most of a good size...used mixed maggots ....if some one had fell in i think they would have been eaten as well, the way they were feeding it was frighting....then from 12 till 3 not a single bite...small hooks and just put 4 or 5 maggots at a time round the float.

me and my wife was on about that the other night ....it seems that its the way we have been in brainwashed in to paying for everything ...i meen cause its free it must taste rank...a peice of fish that must be 3 weeks old filled with additives fed a diet of sewage is ok to pay £3 in a chippy or in a box from the supermarket...
