the wind was an easterly today so i went to oban with my boat, my mate graham also took his we fished about 600 yards apart, we got 5 common skate each mine were females 17lb, 69lb and 152lb,, plus 2 males of 100lb+ grahams were all over 100lb we both dropped fish as well great day, warm and sunny

seeing everyone is confessing to murdering fish i would like to clear my concience by stating that on monday while fishing from my boat off dunbar on the east coast of scotland myself and my mate tony killed: 18 cod biggest 13.5lb smallest 2lb, 3 ling about 5-6lb 12 coalies for skate bait androughly 100 mackerel which is our winter bait stock all were above MSL i did return a 7.5lb pollack alive none of these fish will be wasted BTW i don't really feel guilty about killing them les

hi, i'm using metal nickel hydride 2500ah. it just seems to take forever to recharge even when the batteries are fully charged and freshly loaded. any suggestions on a flash for the hot shoe?? i have an old vivitar but it seens to be a bit uncompatable, do i need a specialist digital flash?? thanks les
