  1. Hi bc if you took your customers outside of the 12 mile limit and fished would this license apply? do you know?
  2. Spot on norm so obvious a blind man can see it, problem is its conning joe public nicely, now who is going to persuade the bbc to do a slot to expose this? any offers
  3. This government is a pile of s**t, not only has it finished my livelyhood, theother month it gave away 24 billion pounds of our tax money to some **** bank of the north never to be seen again, it has also today given away my my national insurance number- bank account info and everything else concerning my id, giving access to any crook in the world who would like take advantage of it, and now i am in the process of losing my home, anybody who voted these monkeys in last time needs their brains testing and i would like to thank them from the bottom of my heart.
  4. Good for you dave, its a shame you dont live down here mate.
  5. Hello fastd, there is no point in letting reps no your feelings they have not listened in the past, i have had emails in the past from so called reps saying what they want us or me to do, never once asking us or me what we would like to do, i have returned some of these emails from time to time and going along and spreading the word so to speak for what in the end? bag limits and licenses and jack s**t in return, protected areas will come about anyway in those offshore windmill sites and maybe a few little bass nursery exceptions big deal!! as for a golden mile "dream on" be honest that aint gonna happen is it.
  6. Hi wurzel Thanks for the reply and i take back what i said about all commercial fishermen, ah yes i remember you telling me i think about this or it might have been a marine stewardship certificate thingy some thing similar to the hastings boys?? and i did right to defra supporting it and saying this should be "implemented" if ever you decide to give it another go wurzel or something similar? you would again get my support on the sole mls increase/extra quota idea for sure cheers and all the best.....
  7. Sorry wurzel but i cant help it mate, excuse my ignorance but what does that cefas study outline or whatever? other than perhaps them saying that fixed nets are not realy applicable is that right? and perhaps thats what you are driving at? cheers..........
  8. Hi steve You and your like (commercial fishermen) had a chance to gain some respect and indeed some support from the rsa, but now you have totaly **** on that for good my friend, and now you have the cheek to ask us to campagn to the eu for your benefit my advise to you is to stop coming on here and taking the micky matey, cheers.......
  9. Hi steve yeh for sure i have heard of a few more codling have indeed been taken off the beaches this year even around my neck of the woods, its part of the of the ten year cycle that comes around same as 87-97 and now 2007 they will all be caught in a 18 months and then it will be another 8 years of zilch, as regards cod off the beach, you know that steve your a fisherman, our only hope both (commercial and the rsa) is that the eu actually do something right for once and bring a measure in that works for the cod, lets not hold our breath though eh, cheers...........................
  10. Hi barry the discard issue a load of boll***s mate they have allways had discards and they will carry on having them, the problem was not being "allowed" to carry on catching and selling immature baby fish if the mls came in, as for them not seeing the long term benefits and fishing for a healthy stock i reay dont think they careless, still they can carry on now fishing for baby fish with there baby heads cant they, cheers..........
  11. Stinks dont it ha, and just think every time you pay your council tax bill you are showing your approval for such committee's existants and you could say you actually paid money for your own resignation what a load of sh*t eh, just like the quality of our shore angling and imo is likely to stay that way in our generation, cheers.............
  12. If i have read them right? what a depressing show of charts 90% of all those bass commercials catch are immature then? no point in ever thinking of raising mesh sizes coz the fishermen will catch jack, what a poxy dillema, might as well give up sea angling
  13. Hi glen, i am with you on the regional issues and it does not make any sense to have had a one for all policy so to speak, we dont on a lot of other things in the uk union, a rethink is in order and the bass mls slap in the face lesson should realy be learnt, it is a shame that it seams a fall out amongst certain rsa's has happened but there you go, like the fishing itself it varies from area to area and fish mls/golden miles/ ideas etc should be viewed and worked on for the good or bad for that area and consulted by the rsa in that area, of course support from area to area is helpful and i am sure it would be given if every rsa were consulted before any plans are put to the powers that be, i think i understand what i am saying? cheers.......
  14. Hi barry, i think youl find that value to the rsa or commercial interests had nothing to do with it what so ever! nor common sense and the rest of the blarney mate......
  15. Hi ken, i do admire your comittment mate keep it up but watch those councilor's they can be a little sneaky cheers.........
  16. Hi steve, with respect mate you can keep your sympathy to yourself (well from this rsa), yes you are right many have worked hard, some very hard, the system is corrupt and biased you know that everybody knows that, rsa's and rsa reps had a go to try and improve things for there hobby and i believe to some extent the commercial fishermens benefit (in the long run) but because of the system's rotteness and because the commercials are old hands at it and perhaps had a few old knave's in the right places, you won the arguement end of this story. trouble is though steve because of this you and the commercial fishermen as whole have just hardened the views of most rsa.s that you care lttle about fish stocks and only your own short term financial gains, but i suppose you can live with that cant you, cheers with good intent stavey..............
  17. hi glen hows the cod fishing this year? as for reps and such getting clear, i fear its a little to late they have there claws in now and are counting the money from the extra revenue they plan to get out of the rsa sector, we are doomed matey like you have warned in the past, i cant believe how naive i have been to think that replying to those consultation toilet papers that the bmp or even some of it was achievable doh, cheers...........
  18. Yeh no what you mean barry, lets all assume the possition for the inevitable shafting, reminds me of a quote made by the baby eating bishop of bath and wales in an episode of blackadder
  19. quote. I further understand that defra intends to manage the recreational sea anglers Perhaps sea anglers should start to plan some type of sea anglers revolt in preparation to this! or should they lie down and prepare to take it up the chuff like every other crap policy that this bent government brings in?
  20. My email to mr shaw went like this! Dear knobhead. its clear from your decision not to increase the bass mls from tiny to not so tiny because the big hard done by inshore fishermen dont obviously want to catch any thing bigger now or in any future. may i suggest to you and your coleagues, to do everyone a favour and take a long walk off a short pier oh and take the few minority of commercials that convinced you into it with you...........
  21. They are anti everything bob, not just angling mate this country has turnt into a s**thole since they took over from 97 my work has become none existant because of there policies and there eu arse sucking, it realy pi**es me off with the favouritism shown north of the border with its free education/care for the elderly/prescriptions to name but a few, where if you are english you are screwed to death and not allowed a say, the sad thing is you would not believe how many english people dont know about any of this. i realy hope alex salmond gets he's wish and scotland gets its independence then maybe we can have our own english parliament with an english pm running the show..............
  22. I dont know how any anglers could ever work with such biased committees like the sfc's, perhaps public exposure to there turn a blind eye and look the otherway practices needs to be worked on a bit more somehow, until that is sorted they are allways gonna p*ss on anglers. after all they are run by commercials are'nt they.
  23. Mr Shaw said: ‘Having considered the science and evidence, and having listened carefully to the concerns of anglers and commercial fishermen, I have decided not to increase the MLS for bass.’ He explained ‘Bass is important to the inshore fishing fleet, which would have borne the brunt of the cost of increasing the MLS. I could not justify introducing a measure which would have had such an impact on those fishermen given the current pressures they face and the healthy state of the stock at present’. What total BOLL*CKS
