Seagull is now with West Bay Small boats seems the gear box is a bit dry but it can be fixed will have it back saturday ready for launch on sunday, weather permiting

I wonder if you could convert it into a boat trailer

Outboard has been serviced only cost £70 but parted with £98 after buying anchor chain and rope. Should be ready to go out next weekend.

If you have let me know and I will get another or forever hold thy peace.

Chesters 1 Im a newcomer to boats, trailer was good from wales to Ilminster 3hours drive and I was told by the previous owner that it was for towing. Thank's Elton & n4lly

Well if I get the motor back at the end of next week then next weekend will be the first launch should I bring a bottle of champagne not for the boat but to drink oops forgot got to drive back home to Ilminster.Dan how do I test the Seagull motor in my workshop I presume you have to put it in water? what mix is the fuel or is it 4 stroke

More questions, what about insurance for the boat, does it need to be registered, can I give it a name?

Thank's for that Dan the boat is a 14'fibreglass when I work out how to put photo's on A.N. you can have a look ( it has been hand painted so is looking a bit sorry for its self hope to rub it down and spray her if I can find somewhere to do it over winter, any idea what a service costs? and how long it takes to get the motor back. I have got a seagull in the workshop suppose I need to get that serviced too.

Now what do I do ? I have taken off the motor to have it serviced Its a Johnson 25, Could some one guide me through how to put photos onto AN so you can have a look at it. This is the first boat I have had apart from a old tin bath that me and my sister used to go down the stream in, so I need all the help I can get ie who do I contact when I go to Lyme Regis or West bay to launch it, what are the rules when you r out there etc etc. The boat is a 14' fibre glass type.
