  2. Mr Mick, nice to "see ya". Yeah, I guess you caught a glimpse of it then. Was wondering whether it was worth fishing in the middle of them sun bathers at Eastlane that we have seen. I think if we set up in the middle of 'em, they would be impressed. I think the sun would actually reflect off me tackle , with that Mr Sheen type shine... P.S. Hope you and Carol are keeping well................
  3. I wash and clean my rods and reels after every trip. Even wash the Beach Buddy in the garden occasionally. I think then that if ever I come to sell them, they look almost new. I take pride in my ultra clean tackle . People even look on in awe at my glowing rod when I am hanging out on the beach.
  4. I have an occasional problem accessing my emails. It is becoming a bit more frequent and a pain. I am with Tiscali and after punching in email addy and password the screen then goes blank. Sometimes just pressing "email" from the homepage, it goes blank. I have always had some error message from Outlook Express but avoid that anyway. The problem is intermiitent. Any help appreciated. I have gone through the account set up bit on Outlook Express and think I have done what it says for problems encountered............
  5. Went to Shingle Street a couple of weeks ago and had just a few small bits. We are going again this Sunday so hopefully it will have picked up a bit. Certainly should have coloured up after all the wind. Tommy, the only shallower bit that I know is towards the shingle bar, which is down the end of the houses area, near the river mouth. The rest of the beach appears to be fairly much the same all the way up to EastLane. Have fished it all the way along here and can't say as I have noticed any dramatic changes in the depths. Most people fish around the area of the first Martello/in front of houses, or they walk for five or ten minutes to the right. I have had the odd codling at every mark I have fished here, so it doesn't seem to me to make a great deal of difference. It is deepish water all along. Hope this helps and good luck.....................
  6. ....very funny.................I ain't got no goldfish either...................
  7. About to leave for Norfolk for a five or six day break, so if anyone happened to pm me ( like Ken L ), I am not ignoring ya. Thanks again Ken for the trouble you have gone to concerning the music.... Bi ( sp? ) for now......Lol........
  8. Nah, I woz just browsing, and the cat launched itself off my bed and landed smack bang onto my tentacles, then my hand slipped and I accidently pressed the button for this thread.
  9. Glad to know there is something out there Elton. Good for him, and let's hope it's the shape of things to come.
  10. Lol--Nice one Wayne. Yeah what a great idea. I think he was trying to spit on the lens of my camera when I snapped him. Was obviously in a hurry to get to the fishing mark...
