im using the knotless and its breaking at the eye.after putting the hair back thru eye to form the D and melting the end im wondering if the heat is weakening the line? i use esp 15lb :confused:

having used the tried and tested run-o-the-mill hair rig,i decided to try the d-ring mono setup.problem is that every time i get a take my line snaps at the hook eye? any ideas or tips greatly appreciated :confused:

i make my own bolies now and again,all u neeed is semolina,rice flour, half dozen eggs and ur imagination with flavours boil for standard bolies,microwave for pop ups....cheap easy and alot of fun when u catch on ur own wares

maybe a bit too far to travel but Shearwater lakes at longleat is a superb venue,37acres teaming with carp,bream,perch and roach.night fishing only on mainroad side but plenty of space per swim for 2 even 3 bivvies, cheap as chips for 24hr ticket an all frosty

i use maver tica t115,cheap and compact with all the features of expensive models and all for £20 each,never had a hitch frosty

its very well made and designed,and a rugged groundsheet which is better than its sister bivvy which is surprising,considering it costs more? oh and its so damn warm frosty

just to say that of all the gear i own, this is probably the best item i have ever bought,CRACKING value for money and all for under £150
