any one got an idea how these are fishing at the moment was thinking of having a run out tommorrow night

i have used them didnt have a lot of luck with them but wasnt having a lot of luck with anythink else so jurys still out 4 me

is any one catching any skate from the beach any where

does any one know of any where in the south east well kent where i could get some decent fishing for thornbacks etc been fishing the medway lately and had a couple of sole to about 1.1/2 lb amd quite a few cod to about 2lb ish but fancy trying for a few thornys from the shore as i have been fishing for about 4 years or so now and never caught 1 if you dont want to post on forum where there might be some you can always pm me

i usually wear a pair of boot socks i got ages ago they are wool thick n keep my feet toasty on winter evenings also they are a bit longer than normal socks

Would you like to share how & what kit you were fishing with, at the time. i was using a 1 up 1 down rig with 1/0 hooks and bait of rag some smelly old lug another angler gave us tipped with squid so was surprised when u get a bass that big on 1/0 hooks thats for sure took 3 of us co ordinating to get it in going up to local tackle shop today to get a drop net i think and maidstone mike it was at laser quay i dont mind telling people where i caught it been fishing there for awhile 1st decent fish i had from there though

caught at the medway friday night it went 7.5lb

sam i was at deal pier last nite about 3rd shelter along and along with 2 mates and all we had all nite was small pout and 1 schoolie 4 about 6 hrs fishing getting harder and harder 4 me to drag my carcass out these days

thinking of getting out friday night 1 30am high tide just wondering whats being caught down there at the mo from beach and pier

the best way i have found is to wrap them individualy in paper and put them in fridge i have kept them for over a week like that and they were ok

i was down there friday about the same 4 me as well but as u say it was nice to get out

i have been fishing denge for about 2 years now and i think its a good spot to mike think in all the time i been fishing there only blanked about 5 or 6 times always seem to get something even if its only small

we drove down the side of the firing ranges and were fishing right in front of them i didnt want to stop to be honest but was running out of bait still gonna be back there in 2 weeks time

fished dengy last night from 8 in the evening till about 1 30 high tide was 12.30ish was just me and my mate he got 1st fish in a nice dab to about 1/2 lb after we had only been there about 20 mins then things started to go a bit mad i was fishing with a 2 hook flapper with size 2 hooks on it and on other rod had a running ledger with size 4/0 hooks and that 1 started a knocking pulled it in and had a nice 2 l/b doggy on it then other rod started knocking pulled that in and had a nice dab to about 1 /lb at the end of the session had 5 dabs ranging from 1/2 l/b to a 1 /lb also 3 more doggys ranging from 2 l/b to about 1 l/b plus some pouting and whiting so over all a good nights fishing
