  1. come on then, how much was it? i can't take the tension.
  2. point th torch beam at a shallow angle to the waters surface and the light will not penetrate very deep down.
  3. i'd say 12lb, unless your very small or very big
  4. i knew that, i was just testing you
  5. use a bait needle to gently pull the hook through the peice of luncheon meat. place a small peice of grass or reed (about 1cm long) between the bend in the hook and the meat. pull the hook back so that the hook is tight to the meat and the grass stops it from pulling through.
  6. "fish don't like poultry baits" i've caught loads of carp with chicken and rabbit catfood.
  7. how does Wilson find fishing spots that good, i have never come across a barbel swim as goood as that one in the dvd?
  8. For trout a size 14 hook, 4/5lb line and a worm is a safe bet. Saying that they will take almost anything as tog said, bread paste is my favourite. It depends on whether you are fishing a stillwater or a river as to the exact set up you should use.
  9. what test curve is that? would i be right in assuming it needs to be at least 1.5lb to handle those fish?
  10. This has probably been asked before but here goes anyway. I am looking for a leger rod that is versitle enough to use for bream and tench on still waters and barbel and chub on rivers. Anyone got any good recomendations? thanks
  11. david is spot on, couldn't have put it better myself.
  12. i find it hard to beleive that anywhere would allow no bait except worms, i think he was pulling your leg
