  3. thanks starvin /prowler to put an end to this (its not fair to be arguing on this forum it does not help anybody) if you have handled /or seen / have first hand knowlege of any product by all means if theirs a problem say it let us all know about the problem .i have no problem at all with anybody making critisism of this trolly as long as they have seen or handled or used it .but to critisize and make such bold statememts from a short ebay add is wrong .i did not name any other trollys (i have bought many over the years )i think the c-tug is great but i also think it is a lot of money for a trolly (many people dont have £85/90 to spend on a trolly after they have bought the yak. this trolly was designed (by me )and manufactured by me the wheels were specially cast i own the mold for this particular wheels used. it was designed to be an affordable trolly at £40.00 .the people who have them now have nothing but praise for them.i think it is unfair to critisize any product without first handeling or seeing it .
  4. have you seen or handled one ? so how can you make the judgement on its weight or the type of wheels it has .it must almost sink the yak i think you must have a dodgey yak then send it back .at least before you make bold comments like that be sure you know what you are critisizing and know what you are saying is true .well have you seen one ?
  5. do you realise you just broke copyright laws by posting that advert ? without the full permision of the writer. its a shame you did not take the time to read the add and find out the answers to your qusetions before you made such a bold judgement you posted so many in correct facts .
  6. hi prowler you seam to know a lot about a trolly that you have not seen or handled .have you seen one? i have read the description where does it say the trolly is made from angle iron and pipe . what do you know about the coating proces have you seen it ?.by your description a coat of hammerright you are totaly wrong . the trolly sells for 40.00 not 52.00 as you posted .you making a judgement on this trolly made me laught i would think you would need to at least have handled one to make the judgements you so boldly make . and by the way the sarcastic coment about the dvd's is also uncalled for .i surgest in future before you make such a rach decision to judge anything you at least see one or at least know what you are talking about i.e. how it is made /how it is coated /what it is made from .

  11. THANKS FOR THE HELP GUYS its for a freind of mine i have a p13 its been great for me . i know about the p13 scupper problem i think its a real problem ( bigger than they are letting on ) when i bought my p13 it was not the angler version. i chose to fit it out with the bits myself . as far as i can tell its just the angler version with the problem ????. i have found my p13 a great all rounder and stable once you get used to them .my friend is buying this one his first yak we have been looking at most of the usual web sites for it but i just wondered if there was a cheaper alt i paid 479.00 at diva but thought i could do better for him .he has been busy getting all his safety gear together first so he is now ready for his yak this week . thanks again terry
  12. who is doing the best price on a p13 .my mate looking for one .thanks
  13. A new bee should not be drilling holes in his yak right away. he should just leave it as standard for at least a few paddling sessions while he is getting used to his yak .and gaining experience in all the safety drills i.e. deepwater re-entry .launching and retrieving by this time any leaks would be apparent before you start to drill holes in the yak .it would be a great idea if all new bees went out with an experienced yacker for the first time anyway there are plenty of people on this forum who would be only to happy to act as guide for anyone new for a day and give a few tips to the new bee that way we can all keep this a safe sport .the prowler scupper problem is with only a few yacks i have a prowler 13 and it has been great in fact i am looking for another one at the moment for a friend .
  14. thanks simon i did think it was in the Straights near bangor pier where did you launch from i will give it a go have you ever tryed from penmon puffin island was thinking about it looks like an easy place to launch from .i have been getting plenty small silver ones about 2/3lbs from Moelfra on Anglesey with jelly shads and plugs. the whiting and cod are just starting to show in small numbers but no size yet .i put all bass back but do keep the odd cod . thanks again.

    Flounders

hello all i been catching flounder about 600 yds out from mack rock just to the north and found that if you tie a small piece of red wool about 2 inches long to the top of the hook by the eye. using worm as bait they seam to take it a lot better i think its the movement of the red wool that makes them bite that bit harder .when i took the red wool off i had problems hitting the bites but as soon as i put it back on nearly every bite is a fish on had 12 flounder and about 40 pollock last time out using the wool for the flounder. terry
