  1. One i have used although you need a good hiding place i.e under the floor if possible or like me in the wall when some building work is taking place, is to buy one of those wireless doorbell things load it with batteries and place in the suitable place keeping the button for yourself, then press at your leisure.

  22. I will have a beer while fishing aswell but as tommo666 said i always make sure i take the can home with me, along with any other rubbish including ciggarette ends. I always pack a couple of carrier bags to put the rubbish in.
  23. Hi all I went fishing at the weekend, saturday morning thru to sunday evening. I always take a float rod with me just for catching little roach, rudd, bream etc. while im waiting for that all important buzzer to scream off. I was doing a bit of float fishing and catching some nice bream upto 4lb on it when a fellow carp angler in the swim next to me, decided he didnt like the idea that i was float fishing and told me it was irresponsible to be float fishing while my carp rods where in the water, as i wasnt paying attention to them and could cause the fish more stress if i hooked one. I was float fishing in my swim so i was right by my carp rods, and i will never float fish if im on my own as i will always ask who im with to pull my float rod out of the water, so that it isnt left unattended and doesnt get tangled up when im playing a carp. I just wandered if anyone else thinks this is so wrong and why as im unsure if im missing something? Changing the subject slightly i managed to get a new pb of a 15lb common, which was a great feeling and i was shaking from the adrenaline rush as i put the fish back in
  24. Good luck common 40. Im sure the photo of the 54lb common in your arms will be on here soon
