Hi Jon,, sorry know pic, had camera and yes a flat battery. should of checked out a bit more, worked in the car. anyway what a day. it was raining when I got on the water after taking time out to watch a few female runners . Anyway hit the water and tryed out the drift sock which worked OK, the anchor was good, but the fish finder was playing up a bit, only showing data on the top half. Played around the rocks for a time, around two hours and then had to call it aday as a party was layed on with lots of beer and young ladies, pity about the weather. terry

Will whats lame about getting interest on someone elses money, they did the same to me a few months ago, so I stopped using pay-pal, in fact I don,t use e-bay much these days, I have had so much rubbish sold to me over the pass few months. Most of the DVD,s are copies, and poor ones at that. As for the fishing gear, well apart from a few items you can buy a lot better on net sites then e-bay. terry

When I return from france I always bring back around 20 jerry cans full of diesel, and run on that until the next trip, I pay around 70 pence at lt, and that includs road tax. Its just RIP of Britan again, I don,t much like the French but they don,t but up with the rubbish we do here.

Kayak fishing in France (Lyon area)? - Australia here
terry1956 replied to Redro's topic in Kayak Fishing
Hi redro, I have a place in france and there is a lot of kayak fishing done out there, There is no need to bring your own kayak out to france as the sale them there, I have seen both P13 and P15,s for sale in the large fishing shops in Carn. Also all their kayaking items are priced a lot less then here in the UK. terry -
SM, trains not taking bikes, and buses not taking anyone holding a pot of paint, what next both services not taking people. Ok down to the real thing, where is this meeting being held, is there a time set, please let me know, terry

HI, i have been using a P13 for cannel fishing and its working out OK for me, not to big, not to small. at 13 foot long it fills the bill, where are you based. terry

Richi, if it works for him then its not c==p. i am sorry just did not like the way you put things. The pullys look OK to me, its just the self tappers thats a bit wrong, nut I have seen these used on some US states and lets face it they have been up to this sort of thing a lot longer then us. Abet in better waters. I just think that we are all here to help each other not call things c==p. terry
-
You don,t tell him its c==p, you just point out the mistake of using self tappers, and the reason why. Its not about oneupmanship, its about helping each other out. I for one liked the system bar the cleat, the use of a cam cleat with nuts and bolts would of been much better. But to call someones work c==p is just not on. Please don,t do it.terry

SM, does the tarpon not have any anchor system as standard, or am I reading the ads wrong, terry
