  1. Hi zippy I e-mailed one person out of interest and he just got back to me, stated that the company was not to hot with customer care and to many bad kayaks sold. You have seen their reactions to the P13, it looked like they sold second,s for good. I wonder if that was all the returns from the UK and other places. Its a pity that there are too many people just out to make money by trying to sale over priced and not suited products. I see it on this site from time to time and it makes me sick. Terry
  2. Interesting, but whats more interesting is if you read the for sale section. It looks like the yanks are dumping the tarpon kayak big time. I wonder why, And yes it looks like us in the UK are getting all the rubbish again. O I wished I could get back to the USA .TERRY
  3. Hi a few years ago my partner and I took our land rover around Afica and due to a bridge being down had to cross a river with crocodiles in it. It was OK for us sitting behind metal, but we had been told that a boy had been taken by a crocodilie the day before, and a few people had been attacked at night by them. I have the feeling that a kayak is just a bit to near the waters surface to be safe. Not for me, I know that people say that crocodiles don,t attack, but they do if they are hungury. terry
  4. Hi there, I will give them ago if you have any, thanks terry

  8. Bill the tamper size realy is up to you, I like to use one just longer then the rod, keep the knots away from the rings, This season I am aiming at using a heavy fly with lead eyes and a slow sinking line, so will go for a 6 pound leader. terry
  9. Bill, a good leader is the way to go, maybe with a slow sinking line. This with a med weight fly well may suit casting off the yak.terry
  10. Hi Chuggs/ Bill. The Turf was open and a nice pint it was to . And know bill I did not take any pulling from the bar, I walked and then just got on my kayak and went to another pub . But it was to busy so we pushed on to the end and had a cup of tea .terry

  15. Hi there, I use a ABU spinning rod, good action but yes its just to long in the butt for a kayak, this year going to play fly fisherman, and we all know that the butts on a fly rod are about right for kayak fishing. have yet to find the idea rod for sitting down fishing, but it must be out there some place. terry

  21. Simon, never met you but are you a sales man for this product ??????????????????????.terry
  22. All the kit here is very over priced fo what it is, I was in spain a few weeks ago and their kayaking kit is around a 3rd of the price we pay. But I think that the tank is more for the US market with their longer fishing season, and better water to fish on. terry
  23. Good idea, but realy only needed for live bait. Bit expensive for me, and maybe a step to far for what we get up to here in the UK. Any one else have a view. terry
  24. Hi specimen, I know the feeling re the tipping over with the scupper type, also getting the cart to line up with the scupper holes is a real pain. I will place pic,s of the cart on here for sure, and look for ward to using it. Look up for more info www.paddlecart.com Terry
  25. The CART, after playing around with my old cart which I just could not get on with I returned to this section and after having a word with the man ( Mark) who is a great chap I have ordered a cart. I have gone for the twin wheeled type for soft sand. With the doller at 1.75 to the pound its a good time to buy from the USA, Carrage 30 USD. Good deal, Thanks Bill for finding. terry
