Sometimes when logging in, the page freeze's, and this appears on the task bar. " waiting for pagead2.googlesyndication.com " You can wait for Godot,but nothing happens,except that eventually I log out. It happens on other sites as well.Is this some type of advertising cookie.?

When I was a kid growing up in the wild west ( on the outskirts of Liverpool ),our carts were called "Steery's",can't remember why.Possibly because we steered with our feet on the front axle.A piece of washing line was also used if we could " borrow " it from our Mam. Other inventions in our street included a bit of 6 by 1 plank with skate wheels front and back ( skateboard),old ironing board with skate wheels front and back (surfboard) and a tea-chest with 3 castor wheels ( a skin removing arm breaker ) Happy days.

At this time of the night I agree with everything.

Most of the emergency services were waiting towards the end of the runway because they did not know how far the runway the plane would stop having only half the brakes and wheels.

This is what happened.As reported on an aviation website. Aircraft was due for landing at EMA. During CatIII approach( very poor visability) autopilot was disengaged on short final. Aircraft slammed into runway, thereby ripping off right hand landing gear. The gear then slammed into the inboard flaps and aft fuselage. Go-around initiated and after being airborne again, crew requested emergency landing at BHX due to weather conditions. The pilots did very well to get it back on the deck safely.

The plane had actually tried to land at East Midlands Airport in bad visability.It lost most of its landing gear in a heavy touch down,did a go a round,and was diverted to Birmingham.

I have just been to Outdoor world and bought a new tent.So I have for sale a VANGO COLORADO 400 tent.This is a 4 person tent made up of a huge dome living area ( over 7ft tall ) and a bedroom compartment which can be split into two.It has been used only 3 times since we bought it last year.It comes complete with all poles,guy ropes and pegs and only takes 10 minutes to put up.It would be ideal for either family use or for lads who fancy a couple of days comfortable living while away fishing.The first person to give me £75 can have it.I can arrange courier delivery at cost via my mates tackle shop. These pictures were taken last weekend in Snowdonia.

The officials who are paid good money to assess risk are probably the same type of official who sell land to building companies and allow them to build estates on what is obviously flood plain land.

A resident of the estate was reported to have said " it was an accident waiting to happen " It looked like a newish estate and Biggin Hill has been there for donkeys years,so to my mind if you move to such an area you have to accept the risks that go with living near an airport.

I always seem to have when I go the pub.
