hi Norrie, yes "The Red" is still there, has changed very little on the outside, dont know about the inside tho, dont drink out much now. I live just round the corner in a ground floor flat with our lass. Reading this thread has brought back some great memories for me. When I was younger and fitter, in the 1970s, I fished a great deal on the west coast of Scotland, there was some damn good fish about then.Rhu narrows had some of the best fishing in those days, but alas, Ive heard its been trawled clean now in that area. Some of the places Ive fished and thotoughly enjoyed were...Largs..Balcary..Castle point..Carrick castle..The Mull..Cairn ryan..Bowling and many more. Thanks for yur comments Newt, so your saying I have to buy more cables and routers etc (Im not techy enough to understand). I was thinking, I could just unplug my usb cable from pc, to cable modem, then plug in a laptop into the cable modem, (not sharing 2 computers at the same time on one cable modem),it doesnt sound if its that simple then, like plugging in a telephone cable into a socket at different locations.

On the computer Im using at the moment, I use NTL cable connection for my web browsing and emails, If I get a laptop, can I plug it into my ntl cable modem, and switch between the 2 when I want to and just carry on as normal, or would I have to set it up as a new connection cheers hoppy :cool:

Go into outlook express,...click...TOOLS... click...OPTIONS...click...SECURITY...and "check" "uncheck" the box... Do Not Allow Attachments to be saved or opened that could potentialy be a virus cheers ...hoppy

Elton, you're on XP, well try this. Look at the top of page and select, TOOLS. then select, INTERNET OPTIONS. then select the button, CONTENT. then select, AUTO COMPLETE. In this window, do what you want to for clearing and check [+] or uncheck [ ] boxes for whichever you want and then click ok cheers..hoppy
