There is a law/regulation,that supposedly stops maggot etc. being sold loose.IE: bagged up.All the shops i've been in over the last few years stick to this.One shop prepacks maggot/worm into plastic containers to avoid it. rondo

As has been said.GET RID! I had one planted as a twig,and in 10 years it was about 15 ft tall.I had to renew a fence and it had to go.On cutting down I found the roots had run over 2 gardens!about 20 feet.God knows where they would have finished. rondo

Paul, you will have to look for something like an "avon" or a fairly meaty carp waggler.But as was said you really need a couple of rods.They are around for a reasonable price,and you will be able to pick up a pair for around £100. rondo
